I am a committed and experienced translator who acted as a volunteer translator for several UN agencies during the beginning of the repatriation exercise in 2015 where I did a very commendable job. I can translate languages like English to Somali and vice versa. I also have skills in proofreading and with one year experience with Islamic Relief Kenya.
I have a passion for writing with experience in writing: Curriculum Vitae, Application letters, Memos, Reports and Complain letters. I have written a number of applications to so many Humanitarian organizations like CARE, Windle International Kenya, SAVE the children and many others and succeeded in them.
I am a native Somali living under UNHCR mandate in Ifo camp (Dadaab). I completed my primary and secondary in 2009 and 2014 respectively. I am a Diploma holder in Human Resource Management from Cambridge through distance learning.
I am an experienced and passionate teacher who has been teaching since 2015 and attended a number of training in teaching. I can teach Mathematics, History, Islamic Religious Education (IRE). I was successful to transform youngsters to go back to school and facilitated a good number of youth to succeed in their endeavour of going to secondary and pass well in their exams. I have worked as a teacher, data collector and data entry.
Additionally, a researcher who has participated in workshops on research by World University services of canada where I have managed three research papers with them since enrollment in 2016 with an excellent report at the end of it.
