I’ve always been good with computers. I remember opening my first PC at the age of eight. It had a whole 25GB of storage! I know, crazy.
I’m part of that amazing generation that remembers life before the internet, the pain of dial-up and the trouble of putting a floppy disk in the right way first time.
I always found it astonishing that the girls I went to school with were never into computers, I.T. or technology in general (apart from using BBM on their Blackberry phone). I remember a girl I sat next to in school literally paying me to do her I.T. work for her because she loathed it that much. If that meant that I got an extra biscuit with my dinner, that was fine by me (my rate was only 35p a lesson).
Years passed and I decided to pursue a degree Computer and Digital Forensics, all the while working as a technician for a large retail company. What wasn’t to love? Learning about hardware by day and fixing PC’s by night (while simultaneously being yelled at for someones fridge freezer being delivered broken).
I picked up work with one of the Big Four quickly after, producing technical reports for large banking clients and being a part of their vendor risk assessments. It was at this point I realised I could combine my love for writing and computing. Sadly, the corporate world wasn’t really my style, which brings me to the freelancer I am today.
I love writing fiction and entertaining blogs, but my heart truly lies with writing about hardware, software, risk, websites and all things innovative.

Work Terms
My hours of operation are from 9 - 5 Monday to Friday, with weekend work being acceptable if the project demands it.
My preferred method of payment is via online banking.
