Hello, my name is Rachel! I am a graphic designer with experience in print / web / packaging / branding design. I specialize in branding and logo design as many of my clients are startup companies. If you are looking to build a visual identity for your brand or company, I'm your person!
A good way to summarize my style is simple — less is more. My tools of trade include Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, inDesign, Premiere, and AfterEffects. I am currently working as both a freelancer and graphic designer for Nikkei (Canada) Marketing Ltd. I have worked on projects such as: packaging design, print design (e.g. posters, business cards, etc.), web banners, social media assets, short 2D animations, album art, t-shirt designs, and digital illustration.
Outside of design, I am an avid hiker, jogger, animal lover, and flautist. In my spare time I love to doodle, read books, explore new places and meet new people. A lot of my design inspiration is drawn from these different facets!
Work Terms
My working hours are flexible, but usually run from Monday - Friday, 7pm-12am PST. This is the time frame during which I will work on projects, but I can be reached at any time via email or mobile.
My pricing varies per project. Flat rates are calculated based on the scope and estimated amount of time spent on the project, and all other projects are charged at $14USD / hour. Since pricing is project specific, a discussion will happen prior to setting the price for any flat rate project since my goal is for the price to be fair for me as the designer and fair for you as the client.
