I am a professional with the skills and experience obtained during 3 decades of military career as a naval officer and over 6 years in the corporate sector. I retired as a Captain from Pakistan Navy (PN) and have outstanding credentials. I have remained associated with analysis, research, management and training for the best part of my life. I am confident that my acumen in research, international law and specialist knowledge of various other facets of safety/ security, technical and aircrew skills, as well as my strong analytical skills, make me a fit freelance writer.
I topped Karachi University in B.Sc(Hons), earned Master’s Degree from National Defence University, LLB from Karachi University, Staff Course from South Africa and a Post Graduate Diploma in Safety from Institute of Air Safety.
Throughout my career, I have maintained the highest standard of judgment and performance within a diverse range of command and staff functions as evident from my past successes. Jumpstarting with Gold Medal and coveted Sword of Honour on commissioning, it was a life-long Learning & Development journey which also took me to six contents. As a Commanding Officer, I ensured security, operations and administration of costly national assets, trained human capital and was awarded Efficiency. As a Faculty Member of PN War College, I prepared officers from home and abroad for higher leadership positions with focus on mentoring them in Research Methodology and Communication Skills. I prepared strategic threat assessment briefs for the senior staff as Director Electronic Warfare at NHQ. As Captain Training Flag Officer Sea Training (FOST), I imparted Operational Training to PN units. While serving as Head of Navy's Mission in USA, I supervised timely modification of PN P-3Cs; potent assets which enhanced Navy's profile.
My corporate expertise include Company Secretary at Bahria Foundation Pakistan, Head of Admin in a manufacturing unit and visiting faculty.
