Drawing Out Your Vision
In my work, I forge solid partnerships with my employers to bring their visions and specifications to fruition. It is very important to me to maintain regular communication with my employers and to provide timely drafts, revisions and completed materials. In the realm of children's book illustration, many of the projects I am commissioned to design are personal and poignant works for my employers. I am empathetic to the stories they wish share with other families. I strive not only to meet the needs of my employers but to illustrate pictures which can be enjoyed by all ages.
In addition to illustrating works for children, I have designed logos for non-profits and small businesses; created marketing brochures for educational institutions; developed the layout and design for newsletters; illustrated T-shirts and greeting cards/invitations. I relish each opportunity to grow as a digital artist- whether that means I am creating detailed illustrations for sensitive subject matter (such as
