I'm Russian and Belarusian native speaker, and I can assure you that only native speaker can translate particularly difficult stuff into Russian. It doesn’t matter if your “Expert” lived in Russia for 2 or 22 years, it’s just impossible to learn all the vocabulary, idioms and figures of speech. I know them.
