About

Communications consultant passionate about tasks involving research, writing, marketing, to PR for any and all types of professional services.

Having just come off a win on the campaign trail as a Campaign Manager, I am returning to my freelance routes in the Communications field. I have worked with non-profits, campaigns, social outreach organizations, authors, to media personalities. I started freelancing while looking for the full-time 9-5 job following college, and I ended up falling in love being able to do do my passion- help people achieve their own dream of starting a company, writing a book, to marketing their new boutique. I have a love for the Communications field and I am currently working towards my PhD while I work on a variety of tasks for many different types of clients. An easy going personality, I am detailed-oriented, dedicated, and loyal to clients. I believe that the customer IS always right, its their dream and vision, they have just allowed me to collaborate with them in getting to where they want to go. An active member of networking groups and charities, I am also an avid bike rider, dog-lover, extensive reader, and love to travel when the opportunity presents itself.

Work Terms

I work all hours- I do not have the typical 9am-5pm. If you consult with me about a task, I schedule you into my week, where it works for us both. I talk to people, no charge and tell them about who I am and what I do, and if what they are looking for is something I know I can help with. I am not too proud to tell someone I do not have the expertise to help them.
I do draw up a contract, asking for a small retainer first, which goes to last invoice (or only invoice if that is what project entails) and I ask for any edits in my contracting agreement to tailor to the clients needs. I am flexible with payments, and how I am paid, but I do send out the invoice on a particular day every other week, which is negotiated up front in the beginning.
