In my spare time, I am an established artist in the sculpture and painting mediums, and a published illustrator. I was also a firefighter/EMT until diagnosed with cancer 8 years ago, which definitely changed the course of my life. I began working in the legal field over 20 years ago, became a certified paralegal, and became a court reporter as a side job. From there, I became a transcriptionist, and eventually moved up as a QA editor of transcription work. Since then, I have become a closed caption editor and began to freelance proofreading novels, manuals, self-help, medical, etc. My experience ranges from medical to legal to television and broadcast, and much more. I do my research and I am meticulous in my work. I meet my deadlines and I strive to provide the highest quality end product you could imagine.
Work Terms
I work pretty much around the clock and am mostly a night owl. However, I take work all hours of the day. I prefer to be paid by PayPal and usually receive half the payment in advance due to having had some bad experiences after completing big jobs and the client "disappearing."
