Authentic. Honest. Different.
Over the past few years, I have gained a number of different experiences in the work field that shaped me into the person I currently am. I know first hand how newspapers and magazines function--- understanding the hard work, love and sweat that goes into publication. I dipped my feet into the water at a multiple city newspaper, which taught me the skills of interviewing members of the community and gaining perspectives on many different accounts. However, my most impactful experience remains in my time writing for the Spectator and the Odyssey. I am an inherently passionate person about a plethora of topics. These positions taught me to write about things that set me on fire. Woman empowerment, environmental crisis, societal standards, body image, ex. To put my perspective out there, because it is incredibly easy to be blinded by common thought.
