I have over 20 years of experience working with home owners, general contractors, and architects designing and drafting plans for residential and commercial projects. For over 17 years, I was employed by one of the leading Design Build companies in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. At the beginning of 2016, this company did some restructuring and I became an independent Design & Drafting contractor for them. I continue to provide my design and drafting services to my previous employers, and am now also offering my services to others.

I can provide you with the AutoCAD design, feasibility, and construction permit plans you require. If needed, and in the Cincinnati Ohio area, I can also connect you with a contractor to integrate the process from design to finished construction. I have over 20 years of experience in the residential and new home industries and have been on teams that produced numerous award winning projects. Whether a room addition, new deck, finished basement, kitchen remodel, screened porch, or any other project, you can be assured that I will provide you the quality and professionalism that you deserve.

I can also offer drafting services outside the scope of residential design and drafting. In my 20 plus years of drafting experience, I have worked on numerous commercial architectural projects. I have worked on several commercial projects such as a new synagogue, renovating spaces for schools, and remodeling store spaces and restaurants. I was also a primary draftsman for a glazing contractor producing shop drawings for the type of glass, doors, and aluminum frames that are commonly on multi-level buildings and storefronts. I can also provide simple 3D computer generated models, 2D illustrations, and other artwork using AutoCAD, Google SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, and other applications as well as hand drawing and coloring.

Work Terms

I work out of my home office and can usually be reached during normal week day office hours (Eastern Mountain Time).

I normally charge $35-$40 per hour depending on the projects. Negotiation of terms is always possible. A lump sum may also be possible depending on the project.
