About

My mission is to create great art: technical writing, research, essays, articles, interviews, business statements, etc. It all is an art that can be made beautiful and well.

My name is Caleb Michael Jordan and I was born in Stillwater, Oklahoma on June 14, 1991: two days after Michael Jordan's first NBA Championship. I grew up the son of a pastor the oldest of five brothers and sisters. I began reading at a high level at a young age; my favorite book as a child, still is, Moby Dick. My father encouraged and taught me to write poetry at a young age and poetry/writing has always been a part of family gatherings and family history. My family grew up with Native American traditions but without a tribal reference as we were alone left of the tribe and the older members of the family did not talk about it other than to use it to influence a focus on family traditions, a willingness to allow people to become family who were technically not family, and to encourage traditions created by the family to continue onto the next generation.

I got married right out of high school so had to work at Walmart full time, where I worked myself up to a management position, while taking a class at night to put my wife through school. Once she got through school and established herself at a career then I left my job to go to the University of Oklahoma full-time where I earned my B.A. in English (technically both writing and literature tracks) with a minor in History. While in college I became known as a reliable editor of papers for other students, a person people could come to for paper ideas, and a person who could elucidate hard poems or pieces of literature in a way that was understandable and not condescending.

Since graduating I have struggled to find a job as a teacher in Oklahoma because of the situation in which teachers find themselves and the job market. I would love an opportunity to work hard and create great and meaningful things and will take every step and route possible to fulfill a job to the best of my abilities.

Work Terms

As for hours of operation I can work at any time, I tend to be a nightbird, and right now I am currently looking for a basic job but will always put time and effort into the job that I am given. My payment terms are by the hour and right now I will work for 8 to 10 dollars an hour depending on the job as I want to establish myself as a reliable and good worker before I think I should get paid more. I want my work ethic and quality of my work to prove itself. My favored mode of communication is text messaging or email but phone and face to face time are fine also: depending on how the client wants to communicate.
