Hi, I’m Calvin—a freelance writer who is here to help you make your ideas sound as good on the page as they do in your head.

I was formerly a staff writer and content curator over at the cannabis culture blog Civilized.Life where I covered breaking new in the cannabis space across topics such as politics, business and entertainment. I have done on the ground reporting from Civilized’s highly acclaimed World Cannabis Congress and interviewed a number of key people in the space.

Previous to that I produced a mini-podcast series about the men’s fashion industry in the Canadian Maritime provinces. This was a project that saw me conducting all of the research, interviews and editing necessary to get the show online and into people’s ears.

Currently based in Saint John, NB when I’m not writing you can typically find me spending time with my dog Mochi, watching anime or catching the local punk bands.

And I always take my coffee black.
