I love to talk. When I can't talk , I write. When I can't write, I read what others write.

I am a native of Alabama and an alumnus of Auburn University at Montgomery having received a BA in English. I went on to attend Ashford University completing my MA in Organizational Management. I am an artist, poet, writer, insatiable reader and lifelong lover of all things artistic. My passions are all about artistic creativity.

A love for reading and writing guided me to transition into freelance editing in 2011. After cutting my teeth on several editing projects, I was enticed to rekindle my desire to write fiction. In December 2014, encouraged by friends, family and a community of supporters, I released my debut novel, The Contract. I describe it as an erotic suspense novel about an office romance gone haywire.

I hit the ground running and haven't looked back since joining Blogtalk Radio in July 2014. The moniker, Miss Sweet Heat, was born when I was selected to co-host I Am Me Radio. As a radio personality, I found that I thrived when commentating on hot topics and current events.

My outspoken personality and sense of humor were given room to flourish through I Am Me Radio and after a year, I decided to step away from the mic. Today, I continue to enjoy spirited debate, exploring new topics and encouraging others to be true to themselves in order to live their best life.
