Novelist

My career began in 2007. Writing wasn't exactly part of the plan. I had the dream of going to medical school. Then disaster struck. The most annoying part was the 'expectedness' of it. Living in a country renowned for her literary giants as well as the bone-crushing poverty the greater part of the population suffer, it wasn't exactly rocket science. No way could my parents afford medical school.

I turned to the only thing that was as priceless as it was freeing-- dreaming. I eventually attended college through a scholarship but my dreams never left me. I started putting pen to paper in 2007. It took me a decade but I've successfully written two fantasy novels and with another in the works, five romance novels and some short stories.

I work from home as a full-time writer enjoying the flexibility of inspiring other African kids in my spare time.

Writing for me is more than a hobby or a profession. It is freedom. It is light and it will forever burn.
