I’ve worked on various film, television, and theater productions wearing several different hats over the years including camera operator, editor, and music composer. I also once directed a local television talk show and co-directed a short spoof about the chupacabra!
Though I'm not a traditional artist, I have worked as a graphic designer for various print and sign companies as well as on a freelance basis. Recently I designed the storyboards for (and composed the music for) a feature length film which released in theaters in 2019.
My work as a music composer includes scoring several short films and three feature films. I was also “composer in residence” for a Dallas-based theater company for many years. As a musician I have performed in various orchestras, symphonic bands, rock bands, and country and folk bands over the years. I was even a member of the “house band” for a local comedy show.
I’m fascinated with the art of movie-making and respect all the work and talent that goes on behind the scenes. Inspired by this, I strive to set a high standard when making my own contributions to this creative effort.
