Clockwork Creative was founded by me, Cody Dalton (pen name of Crow Daniels) after four long years of frustration watching other, apparently 'professional' editors coldly destroy good work and take advantage of my past clients, and then charging them huge fees for doing so!
I'm just one person, so - try as I might - it was going to be hard to take on the status quo of editing on my own. And that is why I called in back-up. I was lucky enough to be surrounded by friends I knew I could trust by my side - including Chloe, Taylor, and Doug (the members of my team). Each of them brings a different bit of expertise with them that I do not have, and each of them brings a point of view I do not have either. Nothing sickens me worse than seeing an editor destroy a beautiful piece of work based on their subjective view. With the four of us, we hope to always disagree and always have differing opinions, for the sake of the work that gets placed in our care.
We are all writers as well, with dreams of one day making a big splash in the world of fiction. This makes us especially sensitive to your needs and makes us far more likely to be able to help polish your work until the magic you imbued within it is glowing for all to see. Much of our competition consists of the simple English professor types who - while great at shooing away grammar and spelling mistakes - do not have the skills or the heart to understand the power of your storytelling.
We're a humble and affordable little company with big dreams and high hopes of not only becoming the next generation of great story tellers, but guiding the next generation of storytellers to the peak of their potential.
