I have experience working on different kinds of projects ranging from computer science, policy work, to translation projects. I am fluent in English, Spanish, and Farsi with experience in German and basic capabilities with French. I have worked as a freelancer for a company called Viewster as well as contract work for Schuster Institute for Investigative Journalism and the World Mosquito Program that is taking place in Medellin Colombia.
My programming experience is in Java, HTML, CSS, and R. I have taken various courses in Java such as data structures and object oriented programming. Additionally, I have website making experience using HTML and CSS. My current position is heavily focused on using R in order to analyze data, make graphs, and use that to contribute to scientific papers.
I am very flexible and eager to learn as much as possible from whatever kind of project I am faced with. I am looking to use Guru as a means to perfect my skills as well as to gain valuable insight into different fields. I am willing to work very closely with my employer and use their advice to maximize the quality of my work. I hope to be given opportunities to excel and demonstrate my capabilities.
