Experienced Chinese linguist, with more than 15 years of experience in the language industry, both as a certified translator, as well as Director of Translation Services & Government Programs at a leading language service provider in the Washington, D.C. Metro Area.
Holds a M.A. Degree in Chinese Literature from National Taiwan University (NTU) and a B.A. in East Asian Languages & Literature (Chinese) from University of Florida.
Certified by the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL); Passed the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) "Language Access Management Program" (LAMP) Chinese Translation Exam at the "Senior Linguist" level.
Ten (10) years of experience with government contract proposal writing, procuring and managing some of the largest translation contracts in the industry, including contracts with the Social Security Administration, Patent & Trademark Office, National Virtual Translation Center, U.S. Department of Veterans' Affairs, NASA, U.S. Department of Agriculture, and more.
Also experienced with Content Creation/Editing (blog posts, articles, etc.), Language Teaching (English & Chinese), and extensive Chinese Business Consulting work.
