Clear and accurate writing has always been important to me. I started work as a writing teacher in 1975, and have combined that occupation with proofreading, editing and writing since 1989. My interests are extensive, and my other skills include carpentry, photography, and making music. Born in the UK, I have lived in France, Germany, Switzerland, Greece, Iran and Japan. As a result, I can communicate comfortably in French, Modern Greek, Farsi, Esperanto, and Japanese. I am married with two daughters and two large cats with whom I share a small apartment in Tokyo.
Work Terms
If you employ me, you will have my full attention for eight to ten hours of every day. I prefer to work by the hour at an hourly rate of $16.00 or by the word at $0.0095/word, but other arrangements can be made. I like to be in regular contact with employers to ensure satisfaction all round.
