With over 6 years of experience in email marketing, copywriting and the production of print collateral, I have honed my skills as a writer, proof-reader and editor.
Qualifications: 1st class degree in English Language and Literature (UCLan), MSt in Creative Writing (Cambridge University), IPM Motivation Diploma (distinction).
Copywriting: Over the years, I have provided content for B2C marketing emails, websites, posters, sales brochures, blogs and exhibition booklets. I am adept at condensing large amounts of information into more succinct and engaging copy, to suit the needs of the audience and can easily adjust my tone of voice to emulate specific brands.
Proof-reading: I find this the most enjoyable part of my profession. I am confident reviewing both sales and technical content, and will carry out subject research to ensure all information is conveyed correctly. In addition to proofing for business, I am also a keen beta-reader for online fiction authors.
Editing: I regularly edit blogs for the Film Club (a new movies blog) in my spare time and also provide editorial services for a local surveying company, proofing and editing their quarterly technical newsletter.
A bit about me: I love Harry Potter, I look after two fat cats and I am a published poet.
