Civil Engineer, Structural Engineer, Highway Engineer, Bridge Engineer

Civil Engineer with expertise in Highways and Structures. I am registered with the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK) as a Professional civil engineer and a corporate member of the Institution of Engineers of Kenya (IEK). I have done roads (rural and urban roads), bridges (prestressed and reinforced concrete, steel, and composites), and high- & and low-rise buildings. Moreover, I have taken a keen interest in the design of foundations through the use of piles and use of lateral supports.

I am appraised in the use of RDM, British Standards, and Eurocodes.

I am enthusiastic in the use of CAD programs such as AutoCAD, Midas Civil, Gen, GTS NX, Civil 3D and sub-assembly composer, MS Project, Visio, Excel, Revit, Robot Structural Analysis, Autodesk Bridge Design, Infraworks, Prota Structures, Tedds, Advance Steel, etc.

In contract management, I am conversant with FIDIC conditions of contract in solving and addressing contractual matters on claims, risk, commencements, delays, quality & and workmanship, correspondences, regulations, sub-contracting and assignments, etc.

My career goal is to “apply civil engineering knowledge and competence in the planning, design, construction, and management of safe structures in the most economical, timely, and equitable manner through synergy with learned persons in the profession and the general public”.
