My name is Francesca and I was born in Italy.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Language and Culture of East Asia, and a Master's Degree (with high-class honours) in Languages and Civilisations of Asia and Mediterranean Africa at Ca' Foscari University of Venice, in Italy. In particular, I am specialized in Japanese language and culture.
During my academic studies I had the opportunity to go overseas as an exchange student: the first time, in 2010, at a Japanese language school in Kyoto (Japan) for 3 months; the second time, from september 2013 to september 2014, at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies in Tokyo (Japan) for 1 year; and, the third time, from september 2016 to august 2017, at Keio University in Tokyo (Japan) for 1 year.
I have 3 years of experience as freelance translator in the language combination of Japanese-Italian (in which I had also the opportunity to do interpretation in this language combination), English to Italian and English to Japanese. I am working with various local and international agencies (in Japan, China, Switzerland, Italy, Europe and USA). My specializations are: business translations, general documents, private/work related email, IR, brochures, manuals, literature, turism related translations, educational content, general technology.
I can also do trascriptions, subtitling, proofreading, and interpretations.

Work Terms

I work from monday to friday 8 hours a day.
If you have urgent job I can also work on saturday and sunday, with an extra charge, but in this case I have to know about this urgent job in time.
