Hello and Welcome to my profile! I'm an Industrial Designer, Architect, and a Civil Engineer. It's a very long story.

I was born in Izmir in 1992. Graduated from Yildiz Technical University’s Civil Engineering Department and shortly after started studying Industrial Design alongside Architecture at the Izmir University of Economics. Design education complemented with an engineering background is an opportunity for me to melt different yet linked approaches in a single pot.

In my perspective every product needs to be serving a purpose, acting as a statement or filling a gap that’s already been there whether we’re aware of or not, and these aspects are needed to be addressed before the physical design process. I believe that addressing and answering them puts us on a road that ends up with a justification of both product and its’ idea.

I’d like to position my work where modern manufacturing methods meet with the sense of uniqueness of a handcrafted piece. Positioning my work is based on both intuitive and analytical decision-making processes including challenges and compromises. Studying and working on different disciplines along the years, was a mandatory exercise for me about when and where to compromise.
