With an education from the University of Michigan in English and writing, I have worked in content writing, copy editing, social media and web marketing, grant proposal writing, and more for years.
My grandfather gave me one piece of career advice: “Read and write well,” and I firmly believe in the importance of both in every avenue of life. Reading and writing are essential elements of any endeavor to effectively communicate with your audience. I use my skills to further the talents of others to promote people, businesses, and movements. I may not know how to run a clothing shop or take beautiful photographs, but I can write about it!
