About

Telling stories. One frame at a time.

Heck was raised in Mexico City. My upbringing exposed me to writing stories as a kid to finishing my first novel by the age of thirteen. Such an early start exposed me to the power of telling a story.

After studying film and television production in Mexico City, I participated in several projects including the film, “Where the Waves Collide” as an Assistant Director, and also in “Rebellious” in the animation department.

After that, I decided to relocate to Canada where I furthered my education in receiving a post graduate degree in film, television, directing and screenwriting.

Recent work has included collaboration in more than 35 film projects, including four feature films. My roles in filmmaking have been diverse, which has enabled me to be a creative force in working with small or large sized companies.

I see new projects as a challenge.

Presently, I reside in Toronto where I creatively produce audio-visual projects with my company, Sir Heck Media Production. My love of stories has me involved on a new project in development – “H” – a Canadian-Mexican co-production.

In my spare time, you may find me reading or having an extra-large coffee at a coffee shop.

I’m always in search of new adventures and learning new skills.
