I have a history of execution and efficiency through automation. As recently as my last project I have used ADO (ActiveX Data Objects) ODBC and excel services to connect Oracle data (to sync) with SharePoint via Excel macros with early and late binding options. Also converting SharePoint into a quasi-database; inserting records and modifying them with ActiveX connection strings and record sets. Beyond this recent experience and I have a long history of data analysis, extraction, stored procedures, ETL and presentation depending on the topology of the environment. Complex joins, normalization, and array manipulation are just some of the optimization techniques I leverage to improve performance as well. I was part of a SQL migration with Harper Collins (2000-2005) for over 100 Access pass thru connections adjusting numerous queries for the new fields.
