As long as I can remember, I have always loved to write. Writing has been an incredibly release for myself not only professionally but also creatively and personally. Beginning from my days as a student at the University of Miami, I have always had a burning passion to write - evident by my pursuit and successful earning of a BS degree in Print Journalism with a double major in history from the University of Miami in 2002.
Since then, my career, and thus my creative and professional journey, as taken me through a number of different companies in a number of diverse industries - ie. terrestrial radio sales, pre-engineered manufacturing, software, mergers and acquisitions, personal injury law, electronic medical records, music publications, professional moving services, and healthcare staffing.
Since joining Cross Country Staffing in 2012 as the copywriter for their Advertising and Marketing Department, I have had the privilege of writing copy in all types of medium such as but not limited to: email marketing, search engine optimization, social media, collateral materials such as brochures and media kits, case studies and fact sheets, internet and print advertising, video scripts, and white papers.
Outside of professional career, I have taken pride in my wild creativity that has served me well as both a music journalist and an aspiring author of fictional writing. I have already completed work on my first fictional novel with efforts started now on a second. I enjoy cooking and fine dining as a foodie, going to concerts being a bit of a music aficionado since the age of 13, photography, skiing, and traveling,
Every day, I look to challenge myself as a writer through taking on new projects that require styles that are strong and dynamic, informative, technical - but always outside of the box.
Work Terms
Due to my current full-time position, my available freelance work hours are: Monday - Friday 7am - 9am, 6pm-9pm; Saturday and Sunday 11am - 5pm.
Payment options are: cash, personal or cashier's check, money order, Credit Card through Square, or direct deposit.
Payment required within 30 days following submission of invoice - Invoice will be sent via email. Dependent on size of invoice balance, payment can be split into multiple payments within a 60 day period following submission of invoice.
Initial deposit may be required depending either on length of research time requested for given project or size of given project.
Preferred communication is via e-mail during full-time business hours. However, conference calls can be made via cell phone and Skype.
