For more than a decade, researching, writing, and editing has been the core of my existence. As a practicing attorney turned non-practicing legal consultant, I focused on drafting and editing complex legal briefs for eight years.
During that time, I also expanded my skill set to include copy editing, proofreading, blogging, web content creation, and WordPress, all of which have allowed me to express my own creativity while helping others with theirs.
My critical thinking skills, thoroughness, and eye for detail, which served me so successfully in the legal field, translated seamlessly into copy editing. I'm now a Certified Copy Editor and member of the American Copy Editors Society (ACES). As a result of this background, I'm highly capable of addressing virtually any editing or proofreading needs.
