Hi ! I am Jean-jacques, 22 years old, I have a Master degree in Industrial Design, a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, from the University Evry Paris-Saclay.
Work experience :
DNA-shaped clock (4 students)
- Researching design ideas by 2D/3D sketches
- Estimating the cost of the fabrication
- Comparing the different materials
- Dimensionning the geared motor and gears
- Designing the ideas on Solidworks surface (DNA strands, base, nucleotides, rotating system,LEDs)
- Preparing the manufacturing of the prototype
- Painting the DNA strands
- Assembling the clock
- Presenting in front of a jury the project (Ms PowerPoint)
- Writting the technical report
- Management project (update of the planning, division of labout, report at the end of the day)
Soap-cutting machine :
- Analysing of the current industrial cutting ways by 2D/3D sketches
- Meeting with customer 2-3 times a month (phone call or face to face)
- Sketching of my ideas before designing on AutoCad Fusion 360 (team work and autonomy)
- Bringing up new ideas
- Choosing the materials and the process of fabrication
- Respecting the expectations
- Collaborating with suppliers and production team
- Designing the machine on Fusion 360 (independantly and with my tutor)
- Preparing manufacturing drawings
- Presentation in front of a jury
