Born in Massachusetts and into a talented family, Jodi Callahan realized at a very young age that she too had the heart of an artist. Viewing the world through an artist's eye, she would sketch whenever she could. Her love of art grew stronger as she studied the dramatic subject matter depicted in the works of the Great Masters and the distinct application of paint and play on light uniquely expressed by the Impressionist painters. Jodi was intrigued.

Jodi graduated from Winchester High School in 1982 a Senior Art Major. She went on to study advertising and graphic design at Boston’s New England School of Art and Design/Suffolk University, graduating in 1985. In 1996 after working as a
graphic designer for eleven years Jodi left the field to raise her family.

In February of 2003 when her children were just six and four, Jodi was diagnosed with invasive breast cancer. After enduring aggressive treatment and surgeries, Jodi is happy to say she is now cancer free and a proud survivor!
