I have 26 years of experience developing a wide array of applications, both on the desktop and for the web in such diverse worlds as mainframe and client/server architectures and in such operating systems as Microsoft Windows, various flavors of Linux, UNIX, and older operating systems such as DOS, VRX/E, OS/400, and OS/2. Languages have included RPG II/III, COBOL, NEAT/3 and NEAT/VS, C, C++, Visual Basic, Classic ASP, and the array of .NET languages including VB.NET, C#, and ASP.NET as well as web based protocols such as HTML. I have also developed for and deployed solutions for both Apache httpd primarily on the Linux platform and Microsoft's IIS on the Windows platform.
Various systems I have supported/developed for/created include database management for healthcare industry, workflow management for telecommunications, data acquisition software running alongside Allen Bradley PLC software, various e-commerce and online distributor web-based sites, etc.
