I’m Juno.
To talk about myself, I spent the last 5 years traveling and working as a freelancer. I stayed in South Asia for 3 years. The countries I have been in are Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, and Laos. I met many people during this 3-years adventure. I had very good friendships and the opportunity to work with many different clients. All of these experiences have increased my vision in many aspects. Thanks to these experiences, I improved myself and I still keep going with that.
I stayed in Malaysia for 2.5 months. During this period, I had the opportunity to work with the Malaysian government. I was part of a team of 10 people as a UI/UX Designer and Front-end Developer.
Apart from that, I had clients from many European countries while I was traveling. I had the opportunity to work with a few of them for a long-term, I’m still working with one of them.
I returned to Turkey at the end of my three-year adventure. I want to return here again to spend some time. My plan was going back to South Asia again but I couldn’t because of the pandemic situation. I like nature, that’s why I have found a house next to my city and moved there. I couldn’t go back to South Asia but I’m still feeling good because of that.
Besides my identity as a designer and developer, I am also a musician. I took the stage as a vocalist with my bands for 7-8 years. Not on the stage but I also play guitar as well. Still keep going with that.
For the end of the conversation, almost every client I have worked with has said that they want to continue with me if they have new jobs. Mutual trust and respect, quick returns, and real friendships, not just coworkers, led to this situation.
I want to keep going on my freelancer journey with Toptal. I know Toptal is the best platform for that and I really want to be part of it. I’m hungry to improve myself and I believe Toptal is going to really help me with that.
