Grim Dark, Fantastical, and Macabre stories are what I craft. I am Kathryn Bullard a creative professional who enjoys and excels at telling you stories that captivate and terrifies the individual.
Horror is my go-to write both screen and page. I tend to stick to both Lovecraft's and King's rule of three. The idea that gore only gets you so far, monsters are easily dealt with, and the true horror is not knowing that you can trust your own eyes.
Fantasy takes my second, the worlds that can be crafted can be endless or minute. I prefer the middle ground however taking aspects of Sword and Sorcery of conquered lands and desperate peoples, for it is their story I love to tell.Grim Dark, Fantastical, and Macabre stories are what I craft. 2013 God Only Knows What's Next - Brief Novella of political "what-if" Apocalypse generated by a rogue dignitary and what the little people have to suffer from those ramifications. Published using Amazon's Createaspace engine, recently retired as it is currently in a rewrite phase.
2017 "Bad Romance" short story via Scars.tv and their physical magazine. A flash fiction piece detailing a writer who is too caught up in her own writing to understand reality, was it murder or was it fiction?
2018 Bad Romance and Other Collected Shorts, via Smash Words and soon Amazon. This is a collection of selected flash fictions and short stories that broadcast the horror genre that keeps me interested. From Gothic, psychological, weird, and erotic this book has just about everything.
