Getting emersed in the drama and story is the pathway to good design
I currently work as a contractor for the Gaming Industry doing Concept Art and Marketing or Story driven Illustrations. I have also published Sci-Fi magazine covers in a small publication and a Children's book due to be published this November. I was initially trained as a Fine Artist doing surreal paintings based on dreams, but now I have transitioned to Digital Art and do Sci-fi and fantasy illustrations. I love getting fully involved in making a dramatic moment or story driven idea. I live for the moments when the skin on the back of your neck stands up because of how epic something is. I practice relentlessly everyday so that my medium can really get to the heart of the idea I'm trying to convey. I really believe that stories and narratives can have a profound effect on us, they can empower us, mislead us or even distract us from the hardships of life. Work Terms
I work between 09:00-21:00(GMT+1), I generally respond within an hour or so and am very communicative during projects. I always let my clients know when they can expect me to post them an update and what they can expect at each stage of the project. I think it's important to keep the lines of communication open and honest and to raise any potential issues at the start of the project. I have a solid process that has been tried and tested over the past 5 years I've been working on commissions and you can expect me to deliver the best possible product within the limitations of your budget and project.
