Hey, I’m Kieran, a Designer and Art Director with over 15 years of industry experience, who loves creative problems and thrives on producing effective solutions.
I put people first
My starting point for any piece of creative is people. Who are the people we're trying to reach and how can we help them? I make it a priority to learn as much as I can about the customer so my team can create designs with empathy, testing and iterating along the way. For me, creativity goes far beyond aesthetics or trends, it's about bringing value to people.
As a mentor, I am passionate about nurturing creative talent and empowering my direct reports to develop their own unique strengths. I believe in encouraging autonomy while providing constructive feedback, direction and support. I also place great importance on celebrating successes while constantly seeking to learn and optimise.
I'm diverse and collaborative
During my 15+ year career I’ve worked for a wide range of clients and in diverse environments – from small creative agencies to global ecommerce enterprises, as well as running my own design business for many years. This has enabled me to adapt to different people, cultures and ways of working, while delivering results for a multitude of projects. I have successfully collaborated with peers, partners, clients and colleagues across many disciplines, from software developers and product owners, to marketing managers.
I have developed campaigns, concepts and assets to work across web, email, online display, for an omnichannel experience, as well as coordinating photo shoots and UX/UI web projects for ecommerce sites.
I get results – and keep learning
Ultimately, of course, it's all about creating work that makes a difference and reaches its goals. I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to measure the results of my work and see the impact it has had – from strengthening brands to increasing revenue and customer engagement – while constantly learning, enhancing my approach and discovering new creative opportunities.
