My name is Kijin Jang and I am originally from South Korea, but also lived in Japan for 7 years and now have been in New York City for the last 7. During my time here in New York City, I completed a master’s program at the School of Visual Arts and also worked on creating and producing branded contents, campaign, web commercials, and promotional videos as a freelance producer, director, production manager, and video editor for various clients and organizations.
I am an experienced and passionate video producer, director, and editor, working on campaigns, commercials, branded contents, short films, and promotional videos for corporate, fashion designers, startups, and non-profits such as UCC Coffee, Jill Stuart Beauty, First Down USA, Rothco, Boss Coffee USA and SK Group. I also have worked as a producer at KBS Japan (a Korean national broadcasting company) for 4 years, and a team leader at Creativesilver (Video Production and Creative studio).
As for my professional video making experiences in Korea, Japan, and the United States, I am very confident to manage all types of productions from concept & storytelling, planning, budgeting, scheduling, crew & casting hiring, and location scouting to post-production. I know how to multitask with precise purpose by constantly working hard to understand how a video should be produced and performed for better insights and results.
