Hello,
My name is Lauren.
I am a university graduate with a bachelor of arts in Entertainment and Event management. I have a love for music, culture and events and am experienced in dreaming up, organising and running events in several different roles and levels.
I am currently an English as a second language teacher and absolutely love teaching and am a total English language geek (and proud!). I have qualifications in TEFL, teaching young learners and teaching business English. I have lived all over the world teaching English as well as in my previous employment for a international bartending school.
In this role I was the Administration and customer service manager for a large, global franchise. I have a weird love for admin and organising data. I love to find new and more convenient ways to track and organise data. I enjoy creative problem solving and helping people to finish their tasks in the most efficient and least painful ways possible. Proofreading and editing is a joy, as is explaining why the changes were made to ensure that these errors will be a thing of the past!
I am a creative person and love to write and approach things with a unique and fresh perspective. My passions are travel, teaching, health, all things spooky (especially tarot and horoscopes), horror and science fiction, learning languages, living my best life and helping others to do the same.
