As an attorney and entrepreneur, for close to 40 years I have counseled and advised clients in legal matters, business operations, and strategic planning. I specialize in commercial, corporate, securities, non-profit, entertainment and media law, and intellectual property. I also serve as a business consultant, writing business plans (including financials) and advising companies on business development and operational strategies. I also am the founder and operating officer of several private media companies.
I have negotiated and drafted agreements in a wide range of fields, including corporate documents, telecommunications, IT, international transactions, media, and entertainment, including the preparation of Private Placement Memorandums and accompanying documents. I also have extensive experience in the areas of trademark and copyright law. I have represented commercial clients in the United States District Court, before the United States Court of Appeals, and in petitioning the United States Congress for special legislation.
My legal background is combined with an in-depth knowledge of the day-to-day workings of the entertainment and media industries. I have represented a wide variety of media and entertainment companies as well as individual artists. The scope of this experience extends from the packaging of entertainment and media projects to organizing and managing studio productions to producing live concerts with internationally known artists.
