Initially, the company started as a music production company; however, over the years, it has transitioned into a full-fledged animation studio offering 2D, 3D, Motion Graphics, SFX, and VFX. The company has served clients such as Scotiabank, the Social Development Commission, PBCJ television Station, Share Magazine, and Fundacion CA. In addition, Castle Productions has several in-house projects in its early development stage, including 2D,3D, and live-action feature films and series. Currently, the company is also offering animation training to bolster the labor force in the animation industry in Jamaica.
Castle Productions has decided to join the CAFCI Cluster, a cluster of studios pooling resources to develop a robust and efficient production pipeline and add to the group's animation services to offer wholesome production services globally. This will also increase the global marketability of the cluster and the individual studio. This strategic move is in fulfilling one of its goals - to provide opportunities to showcase local talent while providing content for the Jamaican and Caribbean markets.
The diaspora has a growing demand for content that resembles their daily experiences. As the CAFCI Cluster grows and Castle Production studio expands, more local content will become available to the diaspora.
