I am a native speaker of Standard American English. I have been involved in teaching people since high school and university, when I was a volunteer tutor. After studying languages and linguistics at the university, I became a Skill Center Instructor. My job was to help to run the Skill Center and to teach English writing and Study Skills. Then I got my master's degree in linguistics, and I enjoyed very much teaching linguistic methods to students as a Teaching Assistant and as an Instructor. In order to apply my linguistic skills in a profession, I became a speech and language therapist.
Taking a year off from my studies for a second master's degree, I taught English Conversation, Business English and Second Language Teaching Methods overseas. Recently, I became an online English Language Teacher online. My students have improved to be able to spend time overseas in English speaking countries and to pass their immigration interviews to be able to come to the United States permanently. You can, too!
