A highly experienced and resourceful business professional with over 20 years of career accomplishments in mainly web and system development and social media management and has also dipped his toes in building, security and farming.
My focus is currently on Social Media Management where I create strategies, manage and analyze consumer activity across major social networking platforms to help brands to make sense of the conversations that consumers are having about their products and services online.
I inform clients about results measurement, metrics, trends, product feedback, potential issues, and opportunities and advise on the strategies that can be implemented to engage with customers in meaningful ways, to support their marketing, customer services, PR and efforts.
I’ve come to learn the importance of articulating a brand’s values in the digital space as opposed to punting a product/service; building relationships as opposed to churning out sales pitches; and ultimately, building a community of brand ambassadors as opposed to participating in social media because “everyone else is”.
I admire organizations whose paths have led them to step out of their traditional roles of just earning money to connecting to others in ways of healing, humor and inspiration whilst also having fun.
