Greetings!
I'm a former award-winning investigative journalist with 15 years of experience editing and writing short- and long-form content for print, the web, broadcast and social media.
An editor and mentor once told me, "Everyone's work needs a second pair of eyes." Truth.
An edit separates the good from the great. Sometimes as writers we can't see the forest for the trees. An editor brings with them a fresh perspective that can help the author get back onto the right path and to the place they knew was there all along. I immensely enjoy digging into someone else's work and helping to make it the best it can be.
While I am a long-time journalist and editor, I have an English Literature minor, and I studied creative writing during college. I also wrote a humor blog for a while.
The issues about which I've written and edited are extensive: politics/government, economics, social issues, healthcare, taxes/millage, real estate, the auto industry, farming/manufacturing, food/food safety, the retail industry, human interest pieces and dating (the humor blog).
