Marcus has over seven years of tertiary education including a Bachelor of Economics and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Western Australia, a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment and a Bachelor of Laws (part complete).
Marcus is a corporate finance executive with 15 years experience as a venture capitalist, technology investment banker (mergers and acquisitions) and as a software entrepreneur. His experience includes director of public and private companies. Skills include strategy, Business Planning, Information Memorandums, Financial Modelling, Valuation, market research, identifying Strategic/financial partners, capital raising, due diligence and completion.
His skills as a coder, economist, VC and investment banker mean that he understands the technical, commercial and economic development potential of the internet.
