Hi my name is Mardis Bagley. I am located in San Francisco, CA and am a native English speaker. My skill set is very well rounded. I am formally trained as an industrial designer and graphic designer. Together I've been in my career for 20 years.
Industrial Design:
My design process is centered around creating iconic, industry relevant products that resonate with the consumer. Creating products that are smart, simple and eco-consciously considerate are goals I keep in mind throughout the design.
I began my career working for several consultancies designing consumer electronics, soft-goods, sports and audio goods. My skills include sketching concepts, 3D modeling, photorealistic rendering, and preparing files for manufacturing. I've had the privilege to work with Dell Computers, Nike Golf, Case Logic, Comcast xfinity, House of Marley and many, many more.
Most recently, I started my own audio brand called Felt Audio. We design and manufacture portable Bluetooth speakers. This journey has allowed me to be involved in every aspect of launching a brand from conceptual design through manufacturing, and finally to fulfillment at the retail level. Few designers can claim this breadth of knowledge.
Graphic Design:
As a designer, I create the visual language that tells the brand story. With this language consumers can easily identify, engage and remember your brand. This visual voice defines the brand, identity, logo, interface, web and environmental designs for your company.
I focus my strengths on logo design, brand and identity and packaging. I also use my 3D skills to develop retail POS environments and explore out-of-box experiences for packaging.
Some of the clients I've worked for include Jiffy Lube, Wells Fargo, Chevron, House of Marley and Klipsch among a host of smaller, yet no less amazing, startups and corporations.
