After losing my administration job during Covid, I had to reinvent myself. My family pushed me to follow my writing passion. I joined a serious writing group, where I write a short story each week. We then meet to critique and edit each other's work. I researched, wrote and published two elementary science books and really enjoyed the writing and then I took and graduated from an intense Proofreading Course. I cannot abide errors in the written word. I grew to adore working for court reporters and legal transcripts. I enjoy freelance and remote work and I have the luxury of time to choose my projects. I love to be busy. I have never missed a deadline.
I am an animal lover and enjoy equestrian as well as spending time with family. My husband and I are foodies and enjoy going to restaurants.
Work Terms
I try to work weekdays 9-5, but I have no problem working long hours and weekends, if needed.
I generally send invoices, and accept direct deposit, credit cards, and PayPal. My rates are $35/hour but I can be paid by project and can be negotiated fairly.
