In my career, I have been responsible for the following:

• Leading and directing company executives and/or HR teams with respect to the development, communication and implementation of comprehensive human capital programs, strategies and initiatives, e.g., directives advising department leaders of policies with respect to equal employment opportunities, compensation, and employee benefits, as well as directing and coordinating related human resources activities;
• Conducting comprehensive due diligence and assessments on current HR business practices and policies including, but not limited to, organization design, technology assessments, performance management systems, onboarding programs and training programs, and coordinating the implementation and/or maintenance of Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), applicant tracking systems, or related human resources system that meets the company needs;
• Providing mentorship and leadership to managers and employees, as well as assessing training needs and monitoring training programs;
• Ensuring that the organization employs the right balance of staff members in terms of skills and experience, and that training and development opportunities remain available to employees to enhance their performance;
• Advising management with respect to organizational policy matters, including, but not limited to, appropriate resolution regarding employee relations issues;
• Complying with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, arbitration decisions, and more.
