I am a school teacher with 10 years of experience in Academic Editing, Proofreading and Content Writing.
I am a school teacher by profession . I work at the Department of School
Education, Kashmir and currently posted at Govt ML Higher Secondary School
Hajin. After obtaining my master’s degree in English Literature from Kashmir
University, i started my career, immediately, as a teacher. Briefly a poet, i chose
to renounce my literary engagements to be a full time educator. My chief areas
of interest are- translational studies, linguistic aesthetics, islamic history and
Iqbaliyat. I believe i am exceptionally skilled in Academic Editing, Proofreading
and Content Writing.
I am an experienced proofreader with 5+ years of experience in the publishing
industry. I have a strong eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy which are
essential in this job role. My knowledge of grammar, punctuation and spelling
help me ensure that all written content is error-free and ready for publication.
I have worked on various projects including books, magazines, websites and
even marketing materials. Through this experience, I have developed excellent
communication skills, enabling me to work well with authors, editors and
other stakeholders in the proofreading process. My biggest achievement was
completing a major project for a large publisher within a very tight deadline.
My best qualities are my high level of accuracy, time management skills and
ability to remain organised when working on multiple projects simultaneously.
