Work Terms
I typically charge a flat rate of $4,000 to prepare a complete patent application. For an informal provisional, the cost can be as little as $500 depending on what needs to be done. For a foundational patent application that covers a variety of different embodiments, the cost can be more. I can do a patentability search for $750, and my charge for responding to an Office Action is $1,500.
