Since completing his specialty degrees and credentialing, Dr. Swor has continued his research and practice development. He has worked with some of the most respected gynecologists in the country. As a clinical professor, a scientific researcher and innovator of new technologies, Dr. Swor has lectured and trained other professionals around the world. In 2014, Dr. Swor became the first area gynecologist to receive sub-specialty board certification in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (urogynecology) after 25+ years of experience and board examinations.
In 2006, the gynecology department at Sarasota Memorial, which Dr. Swor created and currently chairs, was ranked #1 in Florida by US News and World Report. Since that year, they have been ranked #2 in Florida for three years and they are the top ranked department in any specialty in Southwest Florida.
Because of his early work in a new sub-specialty, Dr. Swor was a founding member of the Accreditation Council of Advanced Laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy. He has many years of experience providing and training others in advanced Gyn, robotics, reconstructive and laser surgery. He is involved in many local boards and medical oversight committees and is a member of a number of national and international professional organizations. He has also been a consultant to many non-profits, pharmaceutical companies, medical device developers, engineers, the Natural Hormone Institute of America and the Florida Board of Medicine. He has consulted for private clients, bankers and attorneys.
In addition to being selected as a Castle-Connelly Top Doctor for 10 years, he was honored as the recipient of the prestigious Distinguished Alumni Award for Professional Achievement, by the University of South Florida in 1998.

Dr. Swor is an independent contractor. You can contact him via mobile phone or email or via his medical practice and business staff. Each project is handled on a case-by-case basis with a complimentary brief introduction, followed by a 2 hour minimum review if agreeable.
