Hello!

I'm Mike Lavery, an independent engineer, and product designer. I spent 10 years in the sporting goods industry before branching out on my own. I've primarily worked in an engineering capacity, but my education is in both mechanical engineering and industrial design from The University of Notre Dame.

3D modeling is my strong suit. I'm a Solidworks Certified Professional and have passed the Advanced Surface Modeling Exam. I love building complex shapes and can create just about anything in the world of CAD.

I have an Ultimaker3 3D printer that can print in a variety of plastics. This has proven invaluable for quick design iteration and prototyping.

I have extensive knowledge of manufacturing plastics, metal, and carbon fiber. I'm available for consultation and more than happy to share my insights on any step of the design process.
